Digitized Strength Training

Experienced coaches and athletes have a remarkable sensitivity in the choice of exercises and training weights. Vmaxpro starts where this perception reaches its limits. Precise information on speeds, distances and performance is documented and helps to ideally control each individual workout. Training content can be intuitively adjusted by last training times and the current performance trend of an athlete. With direct statements about the daily form of an athlete, already with warm-up sets, quick adjustments in training are possible. It becomes much easier to optimally load an athlete and to guarantee his top form on the match day or during competition.

Speed-oriented strength training

In speed-oriented strength training (VBT), the classification of the individual strength abilities is based on the speed of movement, under the assumption that the athlete is operating at maximum possible speed with the correct technique at the same time. As an example, the body reacts in a range between 0.6 and 0.8 m/s primarily with an increase in explosive force. The individual abilities that characterize an athlete in his sport can be trained in a very differentiated way and training areas can be derived. The load can be precisely controlled via speed drops. A sharp drop in speed indicates significant fatigue, which may require a significantly longer regeneration time. In combination with visual and acoustic feedback, an optimal load is ensured and the athlete is constantly motivated.

technical analysis

dumbbell locus curve

The analysis of the dumbbell location curve is a primary tool of technical training in Olympic weightlifting. The lateral view of the dumbbell locus curve provides comprehensive information on the execution of the exercise. Combined with a real-time feedback and the fully automatic recording offers Vmaxpro coaches and athletes the opportunity to influence the technique already within a series. The train height and the maximum train speed are output directly as the most important parameters. In addition to the dumbbell position, the rotation and inclination are also displayed in the 3D view. Each individual workout is started with Vmaxpro and this without any additional effort.

video analysis

With the fully automatic video recording you can not Vmaxproonly analyze the movement of the barbell, but also that of the athlete. The shooting angle is up to you. The video image is displayed synchronized with the dumbbell locus curve. Thus, connections between dumbbell movement and body positioning are clearly recognizable and can be addressed directly during training. Since everything runs fully automatically, this function can also be used alone during training if the trainer or training partner is not present.

vulnerability analysis

For each repetition, speed and acceleration curves over the range of motion are available. These can be used, for example, to detect acceleration and speed drops and address them directly during training. Since it sits Vmaxprodirectly on the barbell, it measures the athlete's forces that remain hidden from the human eye or camera. They are displayed in the acceleration curves or as force application vectors on the dumbbell locus curve. Did the physical contact come too soon? Was he too strong? These questions will be easy to answer in the future.

performance diagnostics

For diagnostic procedures, personalized PDFs can be created directly from the Vmaxproapp. Your company or institute logo as well as your e-mail address and website will be inserted directly. All recorded data can be exported in table format, further processed on the PC and individually analyzed.

group training

Small training groups, guided by a trainer or on their own, can be quickly and easily managed and controlled with a single Vmaxprosystem and a mobile device. Training on a dumbbell, only the athlete must be changed in the app by tapping and if necessary the training weight must be adjusted.

Larger training groups or entire teams should ideally be divided into stations and each one supervised by a Vmaxprosystem. All data can then be merged directly to the trainer's mobile device using export and import functions.
